Florida manager Fredi Gonzalez says right-hander Brendan Donnelly is facing a trip to the disabled list after leaving Saturday nights game with a right calf strain.
Donnelly gave up a single to Yunel Escobar in the eighth inning before Matt Diaz followed with a sacrifice bunt. Donnelly pulled up after fielding the bunt and throwing out Diaz at first base.
Gonzalez then removed Donnelly from the game.
Donnelly is 2-0 with a 2.04 ERA in 21 games. Gonzalez said after the game Donnelly would be placed on the disabled list because it is difficult to pitch with a calf injury.
The Braves beat the Marlins 4-3.
